Let's talk about setting SMART goals. Setting SMART goals means you can clarify your ideas, focus your efforts, use your time and resources productively, and increase your chances of achieving what you want in life.
SMART is a simple acronym you can use when setting your goals at any time.
Specific- Who, What, When, Where, Why. Be as specific as possible about what you want to accomplish.
Measurable- How are you going to measure progress? How will you know when you've accomplished your goal?
Achievable- What will you do to make the goal attainable? Think about how you will accomplish your goals.
Relevant- Does your goal align with your values and long-term objectives?
Time-Bound- By when will you accomplish your goals? Set a realistic but ambitious time frame.
It's important that you write down these goals and visually see them. You're more likely to accomplish your goals if they are written down. Having them in a place that you can see them on a regular basis to remind you of what you're working towards is important too.
