The Power of Books, with Ryann McMillon-BGAD #10

Ryann shares his childhood struggle with learning disabilities and his difficulties with reading.

School was always challenging but reading and self-education became the key to high achievement.

His love for books evolved and eventually learning became one of his favorite hobbies.

Books are like mentors. They can be used to teach about any area of life, history repeats itself and we all can learn from those before us. You can learn from presidents, CEOS, elite athletes, experts in their fields. People spend their entire lives gathering information and put it into a few hundred pages for your benefit. The ones that take the time to actually consume the material will prosper and learn.

Self-education is one of the most powerful habits any person can start doing. You can transform your life, learn anything, develop skills, and grow by studying on your own.  If you don't like to read or learn, it's because you haven't started learning about the subjects and material that interest YOU.

Just because school ends doesn't mean you have to stop learning. That's where people make a huge mistake in life.

Stay informed and never stop learning.
